the progressive dental
hygiene
department
One of the primary missions of our practice is the prevention of dental
disease and
dental problems. At the heart of that mission is our dental hygiene
department.
All of our hygienists are college graduates with several years in
dentistry even before
they entered dental hygiene school.
Dr. Salah insists that his hygienists take the most up to date
continuing classes in
periodontal therapy (the detection and treatment of diseases of the
gums and supporting
structures of the teeth). So in addition to their many hours of college
class room time,
the hygiene staff is always reading journals, keeping up to date on new
products and
taking classes.
