| Dentures and partial dentures
are the
most economical way to replace missing teeth. Dentures, also known as full dentures, plates, bridges etc. replace all the teeth on upper jaws, lower jaws or both. Dentures are a treatment option as long as there is proper bone structure to retain and support the denture. Dentures can be tissue supported or implant supported. Dr. Salah has extensive experience with all types of dentures. Please call and ask to consult with him regarding your dental needs! Partial dentures, also called bridges, plates or flippers, are for the replacement of several but not all the teeth on an upper jaw, lower jaw or both. Traditionally partials use metal clasps to anchor themselves on the remaining teeth on the jaw. Often these clasps can be hidden, sometimes they cannot. Partial dentures can also use precision attachments to securely attach to fixed crown or bridgework. Aside from the security of mechanical attachment, a precision partial also eliminates the metal clasps. No metal clasps mean a more attractive, natural looking restoration. |
